In a 10-minute TV debate on CNN this week, Glenn Greenwald, a former litigator, proved a forceful and effective advocate for Wikileaks when he engaged former Bush adminstration Homeland Security Advisor Frances Townsend.[1]  --  Townsend made a number of false assertions about WikiLeaks and Assange; she seems, in fact, not to have bothered to inform herself about the subject she is discussing.  --  Townsend says, for example: "Look, even Julian Assange himself has not made, sort of, the notion, the argument that what he is doing is some sort of public service."  --  But Assange said in November 2009:  "From our perspective, we are an international public service." ...
