On Thursday evening, Julian Assange was released from custody in London, as seen in raw video on YouTube at the link posted below. -- Shortly after his release from HM Prison Wandsworth, which he called an "interesting experience, although one I would not gladly repeat." -- He rebutted a number of myths surrounding his case in a phone interview with Jon Snow, the anchor of Channel 4 News, the ITN-produced news division of British TV broadcaster Channel 4. -- Assange charged "a clear, clear abuse of process" in the case organized against him from Sweden. -- "We have received intelligence that there will be another attempt to abuse that process in the next 24 hours," Assange said. -- Anticipating his future defense against charges being prepared in the United States, Assange said: "We don't leak anything. We are a publisher." -- He also rebutted the charge that Wikileaks is risking lives and doing more harm than good: "Our organization has never been shown throuout its four-year publishing history to have resulted in harm or death to any single person anywhere in the world," Assange said. -- "However, we have taken down governments, we have seen ministers fired, we have seen criminal investigations start up as a result of things that we have exposed." ...
