The mid-August doldrums were chased away from Tacoma by the arrival of the Liar-Liar-Pants-on-Fire-Mobile, honoring George W. Through Nov. 2, UFPPC will sponsor a weekly discussion of recent books, open to all who have read them and are interested in talking about them. Beginning July 12, discussions will be held 7-9pm Mondays at the Mandolin CafÈ, 3923 S. 12th St., Tacoma.
