UFPPC's Monday evening study circle now underway on recent book about the invasion and occupation of Iraq will add two volumes and extend through Sept. 11, 2006. -- Peter W. Galbraith's The End of Iraq: How American Incompetence Created a War without End (Simon & Schuster, 2006) and Scott Ritter's Iraq Confidential: The Untold Story of the Intelligence Conspiracy to Undermine the UN and Overthrow Saddam Hussein (Nation Books, 2005) will be added to the ongoing discussion of Michael Gordon and Gen. Bernard Trainor's Cobra II: The Inside Story of the Invasion and Occupation of Iraq (Pantheon, 2006) and Thomas Ricks's Fiasco: The American Military Adventure in Iraq (Penguin Press, 2006) by Thomas E. UFPPC's Monday evening book discussion group, Digging Deeper, will devote two sessions to discussing two recent accounts of the U.S.-led invasion and occupation of Iraq.[1]  --  At 7:00 p.m. on Aug. 21 and Aug. 28 at the Mandolin Café in Tacoma (3923 S. 12th St.), you're invited to join in a discussion of Cobra II: The Inside Story of the Invasion and Occupation of Iraq (Pantheon, 2006) by Michael R. Gordon and Gen. Bernard E. Trainor and Fiasco: The American Military Adventure in Iraq (Penguin Press, 2006) by Thomas R. On Wed., Aug. 16, a large rally in support of Lt. Ehren Watada will take place at the bridge over I-5 at Exit 119, near Fort Lewis.[1]  --  UFPPC will join many other supporters in beginning to gather at 4:00 p.m.; a rally will be held at 6:00 p.m.  --  On the following day Lt.
