Having completed the orginal list of books the "Digging Deeper" group will continue its discussions at the Mandolin Café, 3923 S. 12th St., Tacoma, WA with the following books:

November 15th - Hegemony or Survival, America's Quest for Global Dominance by Noam Chomsky

November 22nd – Hegemony or Survival continued

November 29th - The Party's Over  by Richard Heinberg

December 6th - Winning the Oil End Game, by Amy Lovins et al (available on line at the Rocky Mountain Institute - see Calendar for this date for website)

December 13th - Continued discussion of the impact of the end of plentiful oil

December 20th and 27th - No discussion scheduled for Monday before or following Christmas

January 2nd - Discussion of issues previously covered, books we would like to read in 2005 and pace of reading assignments.  The books previously scheduled but not discussed will be included in the 2005 list.  These include: "Democracy Matters" by Cornel West and "Chain of Command" by Seymour Herst.
