Senate Joint Memorial Bill 8003 calls for Congress to take the lead and to pass legislation that would prohibit further troops being deployed to Iraq.

The bill is co-sponsored by Senators Kohl-Welles (36th District), Kline (37th), Pridemore (49th), Shin, (21st), Oemig (45th), Prentice 11th), Poulsen (34th), Regala (27th), Spanel (40th), and Jacobsen (46th).

Obviously, this bill needs more co-sponsors. People who live in districts whose senator has not signed on need to communicate with them.

There is a companion bill in the House:  House Joint Memorial Bill 4004.
