The local chapter of the League of Women Voters and a number of other groups are sponsoring a forum on ranked choice voting at 7:00 p.m. on Thurs., Mar. 20, in the UPS Student Center.[1]  --  Rob Richie of Executive Director of FairVote, Rebecca Brauhn, a Pierce County Elections Specialist, and Kelly Haughton of Citizens for a Better Ballot will speak and answer questions.  --  "We will also have an opportunity to learn about the National Popular Vote as well as other legislation regarding elections," according to Susan Eidenschink of the League of Women Voters of Tacoma-Pierce County....

Pierce County will use Ranked Choice Voting for the first time in county Elections in November 2008. This is a great opportunity to find out more about Ranked Choice Voting and to ask questions of the experts.

We will also have an opportunity to learn about the National Popular Vote as well as other legislation regarding elections.

Refreshments will be served.
