At 7:30 p.m. on Wed., Feb. 20, Treye McKinney will give a PowerPoint presentation on his recent trip to Israel and the Occupied Territories. -- McKinney is a staffer at Tacoma Catholic Worker Guadalupe House, a transitional house for the homeless, and returned to the U.S. in November. -- He traveled with a Christian Peacemaker Team and met people on both sides of the conflict. -- In November, he told the News Tribune (Tacoma, WA): "What I saw made me sad.
