SALON INVITATION

You are cordially invited to the second of five gatherings of the Salon Society Second Sunday Series on November 11th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 205 Berkeley Avenue in Fircrest, Tacoma.

This is a fundraiser for United for Peace of Pierce County whose mission is to nonviolently oppose reliance on preemptive unilateral military actions rather than cooperative diplomacy. The funds are to be used for educational purposes.

Entertainment begins at 1 pm and will include Louisa Beal and her dancing dogs. Steve Nebel will perform a new selection of original songs centered thematically on the raven.

Louisa Beal, a veterinarian with a special interest in animal behavior, will host a discussion on animals in art and life. She will examine relationships various animal species may have between music, painting, dance, books, and human personalities. Native American perspectives will be discussed as well. Come share your personal stories about animals, both wild and domesticated. Discussion will follow with refreshments, including wine and hors d'oeuvres.

This is an intimate gathering in a private home belonging to Louisa Beal. Seating is limited to 25 and tickets are $15.00 each. They can be purchased by calling Kristi Nebel at 253-573-1504, and sent by mail.
