Artist Lynn Di Nino's performance art piece, "CHAOS Into Order," will be performed on Sun., Jul. 8, from 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 6th Ave. & Oakes (in front of Shakabrah Java, 2618 Sixth Ave.) in Tacoma. -- Some sixty participants will "gradually transform street 'chaos' into 'order' by using recycled-paper and sewn ribbon streamers to cover a nearby tall scaffolding into sculpture" in an "all-day live-art action." -- Several members of UFPPC will be participating, and the series of orators will conclude with Tacoma City Councilmember Julie Anderson....

This all-day live-art action will feature costumed artist/stitchers and their assistants, scaffolding monkeys, nuns, and opera singer Sue Carr who will perform at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., with her costumer, Lisa Fruichantie.
