Written by Fred Moreau & Abe DeJamminen
Tuesday, 06 February 2007

Links and captions for eleven photographs by three AP and Reuters photographers taken on Mon., Feb. 5, 2007, in connection with the first day of the court-martial of Lt. Ehren Watada, are posted below.[1-11]  --  Prominent among them are three by AP's John Froschauer of the Tacoma Puppetistas,[1,2,3] who were supported and staffed in part by United for Peace of Pierce County members, and the “Mother of all Banners” created by UFPPC (Steve Nebel & Jim Robbins especially) in June and still doing yeoman service, as Reuters photographer Robert Sorbo’s shot of the bridge over I-5 at Exit 119 shows.[7]  --  Also posted are a number of photographs related to the court-martial (no cameras were allowed in the courtroom, however)....
